If selected and you wish to place a deposit on a puppy, then please know:  

All Deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE.  Deposits are $500, which go towards the price of the dog.  Price is $3500

We accept Cash  and Check (with 5 days to clear), Venmo, Good Dog ect,. 

All puppies will have vet checks prior to going to their new homes.  Legacy Dutch Shepherds will deworm puppies at 5 and 7 weeks and give Parvo/Distemper shots.

Sales Contract

This Agreement is for the purpose of safeguarding the Dutch Shepherd breed and the individual dog described below. This Agreement must be signed by the Buyer prior to transfer of said dog.

Purchase price does not include air/ground transportation, shipping kennel, health care after transfer, or sales tax if applicable.

In signing this contract, the buyer indicates his/her understanding that he/she is taking full responsibility for all aspects, financial and otherwise, for this Dutch Shepherd’s life-long health, comfort, and safety. The buyer agrees to:

• Provide   proper maintenance and emergency health care.
• Provide   plenty of socialization.
• Be  responsible for all liability in case of accidents while the dog is in  his/her care.

Above listed puppy will be vaccinated at approximately seven (7) weeks of age for distemper-hepatitis, parainflueza, and canine parvovirus. The Buyer will have all remaining puppy vaccinations (typically at 10, and 14 weeks) for distemper-hepatitis, leptospirosis, parainfluenza, and canine parvovirus, and for bordetella and rabies at 16 weeks, or as prescribed by Buyer's veterinarian.

Legacy Dutch Shepherd guarantees puppies to be free of congenital defects effecting hip and elbow dysplasia. The dysplasia guarantee is void in obese dogs or in dogs spayed/neutered before14 months of age We also guarantee our puppies to be free of infectious disease at the time of sale within that disease's incubation period.  This guarantee does not include internal parasites such as Giardia or Coccidia since these common parasites can live dormant in the puppy’s GI tract until aroused by the stress of leaving the kennel; however puppies are dewormed prior to sale. The Buyer assumes all responsibility if they fail to keep the dog in a healthy, lean condition.

The puppy shall not be bred unless it has been x-rayed and certified clear of hip and elbow dysplasia by OFA or Penn Hip at 2 years of age, nor shall it be bred to another dog who does not meet these same conditions.
 

Legacy Dutch Shepherd shall have the right of first refusal. If at any time the buyer can no longer retain possession of the dog. Legacy Dutch Shepherds shall be notified immediately. Legacy Dutch Shepherd will always take the dog back regardless of cause. Buyer agrees to return the dog with all papers and medical records.  The buyer agrees that this contract prohibits the transfer of the dog to any third party and acknowledges understanding that under no circumstance is the dog to be sold, leased, traded or given away to a pet shop, research laboratory, animal shelter, dog pound or similar facility.
 

Buyer agrees to use the kennel name prefix Legacy when registering this Dutch Shepherd with AKC, BRN or UKC.
 

I have read this contract in its entirety and agree to and accept all above conditions as set forth.
